2.0L Turbo-Diesel (LUZ): The Best Highway Car in the Lineup, With a Smaller Support Network

Added for 2014 only, the diesel makes 151 hp and a substantial 264 lb-ft of torque, paired exclusively with the 6-speed automatic. EPA-rated at 32 mpg combined (27 city / 44 highway), it's the most efficient engine GM put in this car, and owners running mostly highway miles report figures close to or above that rating.

The diesel's issues are different from the gas engines' issues.
